Traveling as a photographer and big product commercial producer (a.k.a. new york production guy); Shelby's favorite mode of transportation continues to be his own two feet. Walking 14 or 16+ hours a day, out of a desert, up and down a mountain range or two, through numerous big cities, and slowly away from lions licking their lips, "I find serenity in my walks...that and a good pair of shoes."

The offspring of an architect and a teacher, the big brother to a sister who aptly titled him the 'wandering jew', most recently been called a 'nomad' by multiple, very very close friends. Shelby continues to journey from one remote location to the next, living out of a camera bag (or production bag) and a comfy pair of shoes.

While his dreams of a barn, darkroom and shop in the country slowly coagulate, he is constantly caught daydreaming of foreign lands and languages, crafts, cultures, pastries and produce, all while donning a smile.
