shelbygallery is a fully functioning art gallery located on 26th in Chelsea's art gallery district.
Representing painters, photographers, multimedia artists and sculptors this parlor floor 1250' square foot gallery hosts quarterly shows with fantastic response. the space and the first opening reception was held in December 2005 and consisted of a photographic retrospective of the construction process and people that helped work on the space, photographs by gallery owner shelby ross.
Recent shows included watecolor painter Clifford Enright and Cuban born Photographer Baldomero Fernandez. In addition the space has also been utilized as a filming location both for motion picture and still photography and has hosted
a number of private events, wine tasting and philanthropic meetings.
